1. Introduction

Welcome to TrackMyNetWorth ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit trackmynetworth.in and use our services.

2.1 Account and Authentication Information

When you sign in using Google or another supported authentication method, we may receive account information such as your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive your Google password.

2.2 Information You Provide

You may provide financial information such as investment holdings, account values, asset values, liabilities, family member labels, and other net worth data for tracking and analysis within the platform.

2.3 Broker Sync Information

If you connect a broker integration such as Zerodha Kite, we may store limited authorization tokens and portfolio data needed to sync holdings and calculate your net worth. We do not see or store your broker password, PIN, or two-factor authentication codes. Future broker integrations, such as Groww, will follow a similar limited-access model where available.

2.4 Billing and Payment Information

If you purchase Pro, we collect subscription and billing records such as your plan, billing interval, payment amount, currency, payment status, payment timestamps, and Razorpay payment or subscription identifiers. Razorpay processes payment credentials such as card, UPI, net banking, or wallet details. TrackMyNetWorth does not store your full payment credentials.

2.5 Usage, Device, and Support Information

We may collect usage and device information through analytics and support tools, including pages visited, events, browser and device information, approximate location derived from network data, error reports, and messages you send to support.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your identity and provide access to your account
  • Display and track your net worth and investment portfolio
  • Sync holdings from connected broker integrations
  • Manage Pro subscriptions, payments, refunds, and cancellations
  • Provide customer support and account-related communication
  • Improve product performance, reliability, and user experience
  • Detect misuse, prevent fraud, and protect the Service
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations

We do not sell your personal or financial data to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the Service. These providers process information only as needed for their role and maintain their own privacy policies.

  • Google OAuth for secure authentication
  • Razorpay for payment processing, subscription checkout, and related billing workflows
  • Zerodha Kite for broker authorization and portfolio sync when you choose to connect it
  • Google Analytics and PostHog for usage analytics, event tracking, and product improvement
  • Crisp for support chat and customer communication

5. Data Storage and Security

We use security measures designed to protect your information, including HTTPS for data in transit and access controls for stored data. Where appropriate, sensitive tokens and records are stored with restricted access.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information with reasonable safeguards.

6. Family and Household Tracking

TrackMyNetWorth may allow you to track family or household members inside your account. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to enter and manage information about any member you add. Family member data is used to provide net worth tracking, allocation views, and plan-limit enforcement.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account, portfolio, broker sync, and subscription data while your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal and financial data unless we need to retain limited records for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Payment records may be retained for reconciliation, refund, accounting, and compliance purposes even after account deletion.

8. Your Rights

You may request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your account and associated data
  • Disconnect broker integrations
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
